Dr. William Henry Wall, Jr. grew up in Blakely, Georgia and now resides in Duluth with his wife Cathey. He attended the University of Georgia, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Emory. He went on for further specialty training at the University of Miami and the University of Florida. He served as a Captain in the US Air Force. A part time faculty position at Emory University Dental School as well as many keynote speaking engagements and honors speaks to Dr. Wall’s broad knowledge and expertise in the field of Oral Surgery.
He is also a noted inventor, holding nineteen patents. His most notable patent is the Angioplasty Stent. Dr. Wall authored a book, From Healing to Hell, the account of his effort to clear his father’s name. His father, a successful Southwest Georgia physician and state senator in the 1940’s and the 1950’s unwittingly becoming addicted to a prescription drug. The chain of events that followed had devastating effects on his father’s life as well as the lives of his family. Dr. Wall retired from his own surgical practice in 2014 and joined the staff at A Plus dentistry shortly thereafter.
